Tower of london(outer part)
We did not visit tower bridge as we are hungry. Therefore, we visited wasabi restaurant for dinner.
It was a day where we could have our free time in London for the next three days again. I would like to share my feelings about this trip before starting the adventure journey that I have with shaz in the day. I do not understand why I have been so independent recently where I could do things alone and I do not have the patient in waiting for others to shop, sight seeing or many more. Maybe it was my natural characters where I would like to start things quick and analyse more things alone. By doing things alone, I am able to make decision for myself without any worries about risking other people or their thoughts yand I could actually view things by analyse them. However, you need a partner who can actually build up your confidence. I do not wish to discriminate anyone that was in London now.... I hope that you do need to reflect on the actions, so do I. I have been reflecting since the day I arrived London by having conversion with..... (not going to mention them)
I shall continue writing about the adventure that shaz and I have.
The first place that we are planning to go was st Paul's cathedral and some things crop up which stopped us to pay the entrance fees to enter. The place was Christian decorate and it was the holy place that I have enter but we are unable to photo the decoration inside therefore we skipped it as it was not worth to enter.
After taking the big castle of st Paul's cathedral's photographs, our next stop is Shakespear globe. We are crossing the bridge to the south part of London and the Shakesphear globe was round the corner. Shaz was intending not to go in as the price was overpriced for the entrance fees but I told him that this place was worth to go as we are able to see how the globe was formed for Shakespear to share the poetic that he made or even shows. After much consideration, both of us decided to go in. There was a device that impressed me while in the museum. It has the design of a telephone and visitors have to press on the numbers That they see at the board. After that, the device will start a short clip with audio in it. Visitors are able to learn the pronunciation of the words(especially for children) and we are able to listen while we are walking around the museum instead of reading the words on the board. However, there is also words on the board. It is to allow visitors to read if they are unable to catch the words that they are talking about in the device.
The new globe was constructed with 600 oak pegs ( there's not a nail or a screw in the house), specially fired Tudor bricks and thatching reeds from Norfolk That prevent pigeons from coming into the globe and the plaster contain goat hair, lime and sand as it did in Shakespeare's time.
After the tour in Shakespeare which costs us like £13, we walked across London bridge. My first feeling of stepping London bridge was ecstatic as I am able to step on the unique feature of London. After that, we headed towards leadenhall market. Leadenhall market was allocated for the rich people in the central district area where people are in their business suit and having their wine glass on their hands to discuss business with their partners or business dealer. It was rare in Singapore as business man have to put their leg with their shoes on on the stand and the person will start shinning it. It costs £ 40 and have you imagine That by having 20 customers each days, you will have a month pay in Singapore?
We continuing walking towards tower of London. There were so many beggars on the street. I saw one guy with his dog sitting on the floor begging for money. The guy was so pale and he even buy his dog a meat to chew... He was look ill and many people seem to ignore him but I cannot imagine that I will get to see such things in the well developed countries. I wonder how long can he live if he cannot find a place to keep warm for himself and the dog was on his lap to give him some warmth from his fur. This is the sentence that we heard before, "dog is man best friends". I ought to agree on this sentence when I see such scene. I pray for them that they will have better life ahead even though the god would like to sacrifice some of my longevity for it.
After an hour, we reached to tower of London and the weather started to change. It was drizzling and everyone is starting to take out their umbrella, wearing their hoddies on their head and some of them have their rain coat on. We are thinking of entering into the tower of London but the price is too much for both of us, I assumed. I have to discuss with my parent whether I should enter.
That is all for 5-10-2012.
