After having lunch in pret, Adeline brought us to UCL UNIVERSITY and she give us a breif description of the university. This include the food and the facilities that they have. After taking some photographs in the university, shahad met us and we started to get our oyster card . Oh I forget to introduce about adeline and shahad. They are actually students in ucl university who visited singapore polytechnic during august. I was fortuned to know about them because they have been bringing us around london in group and they even brought us the famous and must go places in the countries. After purchasing our oyster card, we walked toward oxford street as we would like to know where is the famous place to shop in london. For example, h&m or other labeled goods.
We are walking along the oxford street for about an hour and shahad have been introducing the restaurants that are halal for our Malay classmates. It was so kind for her to tell us so it allows the Malay students to enjoy the foods in London. I would like to thanks shahad for being our tour guide in my blog. Everyone are tired after walking along oxford street for so long as we have just alight the fourteen hour flight and it shows that many of us are having jet lag. It is one thirty and we have to start our way to Russel square station to check in our hotel. The train station was deep underground as we have to use many escalator to reach to the train. Therefore, Singaporean should not blame on our smrt as they have been efficient unlike the London subway tube .... The train have a limited spaces and if Singapore have such train, we are most likely going to miss about ten train before we reached our destination. After checking into our hotel, we freshen up and unpacked our items in the luggage. Resting for two hours in our hotel room, we meet Adeline and shahad at the lobby of our hotel and we start our tour toward the London Chinatown and convent garden. We manage to find a Chinese buffet restaurants and it was quite delicious and affordable. While we are having dinner, shahad and Adeline start to leave as they have events after that. We have our stomach round, we start paying our bills and walked back our hotel. While walking half way, we sttopped at the frozen yogurt store and the sales person gave us a sample. It was similar to the shop that we found in Singapore, for example tutti frutti. The frozen yogurt is similar to the taste that we have in Singapore but it was my first time to have my frozen yogurt in London and in 11 degree Celsius weather. End of day 1 in London
