Coffee machine in caffe NERO... Any differences from singapore ?
It's all started with a bright sunny day in London and everyone is starting with the same morning routinue since the second day in London. We have been eating the same English breakfast which is bread, eggs, cornflakes, hotdog and beans. However, we are not tired of having the same breakfast every morning, perhaps it is rarely to have English breakfast in Singapore.
After having our breakfast, we are asked to gather in the hotel lobby as to wait for Richard to come and bring us to the company that he have planned for us. While heading towards the company, I asked myself whether the type of company lifestyle is similar to Singapore or is there any unique features in the company for London. Maybe everyone is thinking of the usual office equipment that every office should have.
Our visiting company is global action plan. This company was settled up by a lecturer in the ucl university and the main objective of setting up this company is to spread the ways of saving the earth. I learnt that London actually do not have a water meter to measure the usage of water for the household. Many Londoner household pay a flat amount of £300-400 each year and they may use any amount of litre of water, therefore Londoners do not save the water but instead they have been wasting the unnecessary usage of water, for example bathing five times per day. As we know that water is precious, therefore global action plan have been thinking of a plan to tackle such issue. On the other hand, Londoners's Tesco supermarket implement a loyalty reward card and they will obtain a stamp if their customers brought their own bags for putting the groceries that they purchase in the supermarket. We also exchange different global protection method that was implemented in Singapore. For example, we are fined s$500(£250) if we littered on the floor but in London, Londoner police will not fine them but they just warned them to pick Up or else they have to pay £50.
After that, we have to find a place for lunch but before that some of us purchase a cup of coffee from caffee nero and the mocha sold there was fabulous as I manage to taste the coffee instead of chocolates which was sold in Singapore coffee bean shop, not sweet but the type was right!
After lunch, we walked back to ucl university for a lesson of enterupeurs.

After the lesson in ucl university, we have our dinner in Japan canteen. The ramen was so ........ not nice or not up to the standard. No words could describe such untasty food in London. We quickly eat our dinner and visit the primark in oxford street. The shop have a marketing strategy as they change the location of the placement of their clothes so that it can make the customers feel that the shop have been replenish new stock or new arrival stuff. Maybe Singapore store should learn to boost up the purchase of their goods by customers.
That is the end of this day. Stay tuned.......
